Accommodations
What time is check-in?
Standard check-in is from 5:00 PM. If your accommodation is ready earlier, we will be happy to offer you an early check-in.
What time is check-out?
Check-out is until 10:00 AM. A late check-out (subject to availability) can be added to your booking, giving you extra time to enjoy your accommodation until 3:00 PM.
Can I store luggage on the day of departure?
Yes, our Front Office team will be happy to assist you with luggage storage.
What is your cancellation policy?
- Payment is due at the time of reservation.
- Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival: 75% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival or no-shows: no refund.
- No refunds are issued for early departures or eviction due to policy violations.
Where is the Caribbean Lofts front desk?
Our front desk is located in the Ocean Breeze Resort. When you enter the resort, drive straight for 100 meters — the office is on your right-hand side.

Do you provide snorkeling or diving gear?
We partner with VIP Diving, one of Bonaire’s top-rated dive centers. Through this partnership, you can arrange high-quality dive and snorkel equipment, guided dives, and professional diving courses.
Do you offer free Wi-Fi?
Yes, free high-speed Wi-Fi is available in all accommodations.
Do the apartments have air conditioning?
Yes, all our accommodations have air conditioning for your comfort.
Do you have baby cots or high chairs available?
Yes, baby cots and high chairs are available on request. Please let us know in advance so we can prepare them for your arrival.
Is parking available?
Yes, free parking is available.
How far is Caribbean Lofts from the airport?
We are located just a 5-minute drive from Bonaire International Airport, making your arrival and departure easy and stress-free.

Do you offer airport transfers?
Yes. Airport transfer can be added when confirming your reservation, or later during online check-in.
What is the STINAPA Nature Fee and how do I purchase it?
The STINAPA Nature Fee (often called the nature tag or marine park fee) is a mandatory fee for visitors engaging in water activities around Bonaire, as well as for access to certain national parks such as Washington-Slagbaai. The fee helps fund conservation, park maintenance, environmental education, and research.

Is there a Visitor Entry Tax to enter Bonaire?
Yes. Bonaire requires a Visitor Entry Tax (also called tourist tax), which applies to all non-residents entering the island. It is separate from the STINAPA Nature Fee.

Is a rental car necessary on Bonaire?
Yes, a rental car is highly recommended. While the island is not very large, Bonaire has no public transportation, and many of the best beaches and dive sites are only accessible by car.

What currency is used on Bonaire?
The official currency is the US Dollar (USD). Credit cards are widely accepted, and ATMs are available across the island. If you are using a debit card, don’t forget to activate global coverage before your trip.
Can I drink tap water on Bonaire?
Yes, the tap water on Bonaire is of very high quality and safe to drink.

What time do I need to return the car?
The car should be returned at the same time as it was picked up, unless otherwise agreed with our team.
Do I need to refuel the car?
Yes, the car should be returned with a full tank. If it is not fully refueled, a refueling fee will be charged.
